Derrick Kosea
Derrick Kosea is a landscape photographer based in New Mexico and best known for his arid images in Four Corners Region. He is a part of the Navajo Tribe, and his clans are Áshįįhi, Kinyaa'áanii, Naakai dine'é, Hooghan ł áni. His pursuit in photography the past 5 years makes him a rarity among his tribe. As a child, Derrick dreamt of moving to the big city. Though, as he grew older, the charm of this vast, open region continued to call him home. Like many of us, he has faced his own struggles in life and thanks the good Lord for giving him the strength daily over the difficult moments and cherishes every moment in between with his love, family, and friends.

Fiona is an amazing and lovely photographer from Scotland. She has grown rapidly and her photography is just beautiful. I am nominating her here though because of what she is doing for dogs. Her sweet dog passed last year after ingesting antifreeze. She has been working tirelessly to raise awareness and get companies to change the sweet flavor of this chemical so dogs and children are not tempted to consume it. She uses her photography and social media platforms to help share this message.
